The End of 2017

As we are nearing the end of 2017 we should take some time to reflect on the events of this year. This year we have seated a reality show business man in the highest office. A man who has boasted about his sexual transgressions for the world to hear, apologized, and then questioned the authenticity of the tape. He has encouraged the resignation of a senator who has done some inappropriate things in the name of comedy while maintaining his presidency. He has endorsed a God loving, accused pedophile for congress who openly admits he believes the U.S. was better off during the time of slavery. He has colluded with Russia, denies it, and then blames the media for creating fake news while he parades around and obstructs believing no one has caught on to his shenanigans. He has had a shouting match via Twitter with the lunatic in North Korea calling him Little Rocket Man.

Those are the big things. Here is some of the less worrisome issues:

• Said a war hero wasn't a hero because he got caught.
• Disrespected a gold star family.
• Tweeted military policy regarding transgender enlistees without informing the military.
• Said the members of the KKK could be nice people too.
• Tried to take away health insurance from millions of people.
• Created a tax plan for the rich.
• Pardoned a sheriff who did not comply with federal law.
• Hired a number of staff that had zero experience even though he said "I hire the best people". 
• Has spent more time playing golf on the weekend than Obama after he said if he was president he wouldn't have time for golf.

Those are just the few I can think of off the top of my head. WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU TRUMPERS THINKING???? Boy, you all got us into a mess.

How can we come back from this? Our reputation is destroyed around the world. People are more divided than they ever have been. We are regressing instead of progressing.
